UPDATE: 4/14/2021
As COVID cases continue to rise in the state of Michigan, we have decided to postpone the start of the 2021 spring season by one week. Therefore, our revised season will begin Friday, April 30 and run through June 18.
What to expect:
1. April 14-18: Remaining Registration Period (Continue to spread the word to anyone else you think may be interested!)
2. April 19-21 We will be working on team placement and formation.
3. April 21-23 - Your child's coach will be contacting you to ask for major scheduling conflicts.
4. April 23 - Coaches Meeting/Game Scheduling
5. April 25 - Full season game schedule will be sent to you.
6. April 30 -Friday night games will begin (2 hour time slot btw 5:30 - 9pm)
7. May 30 - No Games memorial weekend.
8. June 18 - Last day of games
The SFFL will continue to monitor the situation in Michigan, while providing regular updates as necessary. We will work closely with our school districts, local municipalities, as well as state and local officials, to decide on the best course of action to ensure the safest season possible.

NEW 7-on-7 Flag Football
(5th/6th, 7th/8th grade divisions)
Dates: Friday Nights, Under the Lights, April 23 - June 11 (7 game season)
Date Change: FridayNights, April 30 - June 18 (7 game season)
Games Times: 2 hour time block between 5:30pm - 10pm (practice is one our prior to game time)
Locations: Games will be held at Bloomfield Hills Lahser.
Coaches will schedule game times to accommodate busy player schedules.
**The 5th/6th graders will have the choice of playing 5 on 5 (see program listing here).
Teams. Each team will consist of 10 to 14 players.
Costs. The registration fee is $139 per player. This includes an NFL reversible jersey

Special Rules for Spring 2021
Registration. Register as a team or individual to be placed on a team.
Spectators. Spectators are restricted to the stands. Only 2 coaches per team may enter the fenced turf area. There is no limit to the number of spectators. Only individuals from the same household can sit together and masks must be worn at all times.
Masks Must be Worn at all Times. All spectators/players/coaches/refs/staff must wear masks at all times while on the premises including during practices and games. Noncompliance could lead to the removal of the participant and cancellation of games. This is for the safety of your child, as well as others. If a child is unable to wear a mask, we are sorry, but for safety reasons, no participation can be allowed.
Safety. If any player, coach or referee on your child's team or opposing team tests positive for Covid, your child will be unable to participate in the following week’s practice/game. For example, Team A plays Team B in week 1. A player on team A has a positive Covid result during the week following week 1’s game. All coaches and players on team A, plus all coaches and players on Team B cannot play in week 2. As long as there are no symptoms, or further positive Covid tests, players and coaches will return for week 3. Participants will not be refunded for any missed games. There will be NO make-up games.
