GIRLS “Take the Field” Flag Football Student Ambassador
Girls in 7-12th grade please consider getting involved and representing your school in the Females In Flag movement. You have the opportunity to be a part of history making: The FEMALES in FLAG initiative is growing and you can join the ranks of this movement. At the forefront of this innovative wave is Coach Genevieve, the visionary who started the first girls' league in Michigan. With her guidance, you'll be part of a groundbreaking experience. Consider becoming a SNAP Females in Flag Student Ambassador and you will learn from us how to help your school prepare for Spring 2024 and help girls flag football advance to become recognized as an interscholastic sport in Michigan.
GIRLS “Take the Field” Flag Football Student Ambassador
This is a part-time volunteer position.
Works with SNAP team to fully understand both the SNAP Girls Flag Football League and the Females in Flag Movement. Represent your High School by assisting with communications to promote the SNAP GIRLS Flag Football League and the Females in Flag Movement within the community. Duties include:
• Promote the SNAP GIRLS Flag Football League! and the Females in Flag Movement!
• Represent your High School both at school, at team meetings, and in the community.
• Show your pride and be a good role model to other girls inspiring them to be their best self.
• Spread the word out to other girls to grow the Girls League and the Girls Ambassador Program, tracking your contacts, and follow ups to girls in our area.
• Publish content to Facebook, Instagram, SNAPchat, Tik Tok, and other social media to expand our social media reach.
• Brainstorm and share new creative ideas with other Ambassadors on the SNAP Team.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on the success of social media initiatives.
• *If interested, you could also, create and assist in graphic design projects for our Girls website pages, and other forms of marketing collateral such as brochures or flyers to promote the Girls League.
